Suva Private Hospital's David Qumivutia to serve as General Manager: 20 July 2010
The Board of Suva Private Hospital has announced the appointment of Mr. David Qumivutia as the General Manager.
Mr. Qumivutia joined Suva Private Hospital in April 2000 initially as Pathology Lab Manager. Over the years, his career progressed from a medical scientist to a range of general management and operations position.
Mr Qumivutia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science from the University of Tasmania, Australia and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of the South Pacific.
Pramesh Sharma, Executive Director of SPH, said that the SPH board unanimously endorsed Mr Qumivutia based on his track record leading a medical organization.
Reflecting on his appointment Mr Qumivutia is striving at the prospect of leading Suva Private Hospital as it continues to grow into one of the principal private medical facilities in Fiji and looks forward to expanding its engagement in Fiji and the region.

Dr Hong has attained his BA MsC at the Zheijiang University in China and has Diploma in General Surgery at the Second Medical University and has attained Special Training in Micro Surgery and Laparoscopic Surgery.
