Suva Private Hospital offers one of only two private mortuary facilities in Fiji. The bodies of patients who pass away while being treated in our facilities are placed in our mortuary free of charge for up to three days. Charges apply after those three days.

For deceased patients from outside Fiji, we provide undertaking services to prepare the body and necessary documentation for repatriation to the country of nationality.

With the ever-crowded mortuary berths in Fiji's public hospitals, Suva Private Hospital is able to offer an alternative where your loved ones can rest in a secure and private facility while funeral preparations are being made.

The mortuary facility has 13 berths and includes a family waiting area that's private and peaceful, where family members can prepare their loved one's body for its final journey.
